2013 NCAA Tournament Men’s Bracket
The 2013 NCAA Tournament Men’s Bracket was truly a sight to behold. With some of the best teams in the country competing against each other, it was a basketball fan’s dream come true. The bracket was released on March 17, 2013, and the tournament began on March 19, 2013.
The bracket consisted of 68 teams, which were divided into four regions – the East, West, Midwest, and South. Each region had 16 teams, with the top four teams in each region receiving a bye in the first round. The remaining teams played in the First Four games, which were held on March 19 and March 20, 2013, in Dayton, Ohio.
First Four Results
The First Four games were intense and provided some thrilling moments for the fans. In the first game, the University of North Carolina A&T defeated Liberty University, 73-72. In the second game, Middle Tennessee State University defeated St. Mary’s College, 67-54. In the third game, La Salle University defeated Boise State University, 80-71. In the final game, James Madison University defeated Long Island University Brooklyn, 68-55.
East Region
The East Region was packed with some incredible teams, including the number one seed, Indiana University. Other top teams in the region included the University of Miami, Marquette University, and Syracuse University. The first round saw some interesting matchups, with Marquette University defeating Davidson College, 59-58, and Syracuse University defeating Montana, 81-34.
The second round saw some incredible action, with Indiana University defeating Temple University, 58-52, and Syracuse University defeating California, 66-60. The Sweet Sixteen saw Indiana University defeat Syracuse University, 61-50, and the Elite Eight saw the University of Miami defeat Marquette University, 71-61.
The East Region Final was an intense game between the University of Miami and Indiana University. In the end, the University of Miami emerged victorious, winning the game 61-50 and advancing to the Final Four.
West Region
The West Region was also packed with some incredible teams, including the number one seed, Gonzaga University. Other top teams in the region included Ohio State University, University of Pittsburgh, and New Mexico State University. The first round saw some interesting matchups, with University of Pittsburgh defeating Wichita State University, 73-55, and Gonzaga University defeating Southern University, 64-58.
The second round saw some incredible action, with Ohio State University defeating Iowa State University, 78-75, and Gonzaga University defeating University of Pittsburgh, 57-43. The Sweet Sixteen saw Ohio State University defeat Arizona University, 73-70, and the Elite Eight saw Wichita State University defeat Gonzaga University, 76-70.
The West Region Final was an intense game between Ohio State University and Wichita State University. In the end, Wichita State University emerged victorious, winning the game 70-66 and advancing to the Final Four.
Midwest Region
The Midwest Region was another tough region, with the number one seed, University of Louisville, leading the pack. Other top teams in the region included Duke University, Michigan State University, and Saint Louis University. The first round saw some interesting matchups, with Duke University defeating Albany, 73-61, and the University of Louisville defeating North Carolina A&T, 79-48.
The second round saw some incredible action, with Duke University defeating Creighton University, 66-50, and the University of Louisville defeating Colorado State University, 82-56. The Sweet Sixteen saw Duke University defeat Michigan State University, 71-61, and the Elite Eight saw the University of Louisville defeat Duke University, 85-63.
The Midwest Region Final was an intense game between the University of Louisville and Duke University. In the end, the University of Louisville emerged victorious, winning the game 85-63 and advancing to the Final Four.
South Region
The South Region was also packed with some incredible teams, including the number one seed, University of Kansas. Other top teams in the region included Georgetown University, University of Florida, and University of Virginia. The first round saw some interesting matchups, with University of Florida defeating Northwestern State University, 79-47, and University of Kansas defeating Western Kentucky University, 64-57.
The second round saw some incredible action, with University of Florida defeating University of Minnesota, 78-64, and University of Kansas defeating University of North Carolina, 70-58. The Sweet Sixteen saw University of Florida defeat Florida Gulf Coast University, 62-50, and the Elite Eight saw the University of Michigan defeat University of Kansas, 87-85.
The South Region Final was an intense game between the University of Michigan and University of Florida. In the end, the University of Michigan emerged victorious, winning the game 79-59 and advancing to the Final Four.
Final Four
The Final Four saw four incredible teams competing against each other, with the hopes of advancing to the NCAA Championship Game. The University of Louisville faced Wichita State University, while the University of Michigan faced the University of Miami.
The first game was an intense battle, with the University of Louisville defeating Wichita State University, 72-68. The second game was just as exciting, with the University of Michigan defeating the University of Miami, 79-72.
The NCAA Championship Game was an incredible showdown between the University of Louisville and the University of Michigan. In the end, the University of Louisville emerged as the 2013 NCAA Men’s Basketball Champions, winning the game 82-76. It was a truly incredible tournament, with some of the best college basketball players in the country competing against each other. The 2013 NCAA Tournament Men’s Bracket will always be remembered as a classic.
