Can you believe it, y’all? The 2019 Mariners schedule is here and I am ready to cheer on our boys in blue! Check out this hot schedule, complete with all the games you need to know about.
Homer Alert!
First up, we’ve got the Chicago White Sox on opening day, March 28th. I’m already predicting a homer from Dee Gordon and a top-notch pitching performance from King Felix. Then, on April 14th, we’ve got the Houston Astros in town. This is going to be a tough one, but I know our boys can bring their A-game.
Back-to-Backs and Rivalries
Looking ahead to May, we’ve got back-to-back series against the Texas Rangers and Oakland Athletics. You know we’ve got some rivalry games in there, which means the intensity will be high. Then, later in the month, we’ve got the Minnesota Twins and Los Angeles Angels coming to town. I can’t wait to see some dominant performances from our pitchers against those teams.
Interleague Play
Interleague play is always exciting and this year is no exception. We’ve got the San Diego Padres coming up in May, followed by the St. Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves in June. It’s always fun to see our guys play against teams they don’t see too often, and I’m particularly looking forward to seeing how we stack up against the NL teams.
All-Star Break and Second Half
Of course, we’ve got the All-Star break in July (and I’m hoping to see a few of our guys make it onto the roster!) followed by a home series against the Oakland A’s. Then, we’ve got some tough road trips in August and September, including visits to the New York Yankees, Houston Astros, and Tampa Bay Rays. But I know our boys can handle it!
Final Series
The final series of the season is a home series against the Oakland A’s, and you know we’ll have to bring our best to finish the season strong. But I have faith in this team and I know they’ll give it their all until the very end.
So there you have it, folks. The 2019 Mariners schedule is set and I am ready for some baseball. Let’s go, M’s!
